Frankincense

As previously mentioned, we will look at the new Vitality oil collection in their four different categories, and in turn, look at the oils one by one within each category.

So let’s start with the Vitality Supplement category, and specifically with the oil known as Frankincense.

Frankincense has been sought after and traded since ancient times and plays a special role in many religious ceremonies. Frankincense Vitality oil contains the naturally occurring constituent alpha-pinene, which is what gives it its distinctive rich, balsamic scent.

Known for its unmistakably complex, sweet, and woodsy flavor and aroma, the benefits of Frankincense Vitality essential oil go far beyond its taste and smell. It also supports well-being and normal cellular health when taken internally.

Frankincense Vitality Essential Oil Uses:

Support your well-being and normal cell health! Take Frankincense Vitality internally as a dietary supplement by adding 1–2 drops to a vegetarian gel capsule.

If you have trouble swallowing capsules, take Frankincense Vitality internally by adding it to water, juice, or even your daily shot of NingXia Red.

Peppermint – The “Reviver.”

Already at day 4 of our “getting to know your starter kit challenge,” and so we take a look at Peppermint. While it has many uses, one of my favorites is to use it when driving, mostly if I am driving a few hours. I keep it close by, and if I feel myself getting drowsy, I simply remove the lid, and inhale it deeply. It always does the trick and I’m instantly revived. Let us know if you’re interested in Young Living Peppermint essential oil, we have all points access!

Historical Oil – Frankincense

It appears that people have been using certain essential oils for thousands of years, and today’s featured oil in our “getting to know your starter kit challenge” is none other than Frankincense.

Do you use Frankincense, and if so, how? I spent many years living under the hot and unforgiving Australian sun, and so I find it useful in helping deal with the results of that. One drop morning and night onto my “affected area” on my arm, it’s working wonders.

And know this, if you have not yet acquired a Young Living starter kit, let us know and we’ll be more than happy to hook you up.

An Oily Challenge

Quite a few people feel overwhelmed with the overall number of essential oils and other products that are available from Young Living. So here is our advice, “first of all, consider what is in the Premium Starter Kit, purchase one, and become an expert on those items.”
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 9th September 2015, we will be sharing one “infographic” each day for 14 days. Each day we will cover a different oil. Stay tuned for some great information.

Citrus Fresh

So let’s talk Citrus Fresh. All you need to do is look at this picture to see what it might be useful for. We always have a bottle of this in our home, and we get an extra one when the existing one gets below the halfway mark, we cannot do without it. Our favorite “use” is to use it in our diffuser and let the house fill with the nice citrus aroma, totally healthy.

The Swiss Army Knife

As many people already know, a Swiss Army knife has many attachments and many uses.

We view our Young Living Lavender essential oil as the “Swiss Army Knife” of all essential oils, without the attachments! It can be used for a variety of purposes but I think my favorite use is to put a couple of drops on each wrist at bedtime, I always seem to sleep better.
Another favorite is to add to the bath just before bedtime, inhale the Lavender aroma and let it work its magic on your skin.

Introducing…

Introducing Valor II and Peace & Calming II

We are excited to introduce Valor II and Peace & Calming II, two alternate formulations of Young Living favorites. While they were not designed to replace the ever popular Valor and Peace & Calming essential oil blends, these new formulations will have increased availability. The new formulations were hand picked to stay true to the original constituent formula of their predecessors, so they will offer the same great experience.
