Here we are at day 5 of our “getting to know your starter kit challenge,” and so we take a look at Copaiba. It has been said that the Copaiba Tree has to be at least 30 years old to produce therapeutic grade oil? And the optimal years are between 30 and 50.
Copaiba supports the body’s natural response to irritation and I have also mixed it with a base oil to help with occasional muscle discomfort after exercise.
I used Young Living Cedarwood last night. Applied sparingly to the bottom of both feet and across the back of my neck. Result? Best night of sleep in many weeks, and I slept through both my Fitbit alarms.
Ever get the afternoon doldrums? I usually hit a stretch mid – afternoon when I need a little extra energy to get through the rest of the day. I’ve found that inhaling essential oils directly from the bottle gives me a boost and helps clear my mind. I frequently inhale and/or diffuse Peppermint. Adding Roller Fitments to neat or diluted bottles of oil also provides me with a quick and easy way to apply oils to my wrists, behind my ears, or even on the bottoms of my feet, where I find application to be the most effective.
Want to order some Peppermint? All you need to do is let us know.
