An Oily Challenge

Quite a few people feel overwhelmed with the overall number of essential oils and other products that are available from Young Living. So here is our advice, “first of all, consider what is in the Premium Starter Kit, purchase one, and become an expert on those items.”
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 9th September 2015, we will be sharing one “infographic” each day for 14 days. Each day we will cover a different oil. Stay tuned for some great information.

The Swiss Army Knife

As many people already know, a Swiss Army knife has many attachments and many uses.

We view our Young Living Lavender essential oil as the “Swiss Army Knife” of all essential oils, without the attachments! It can be used for a variety of purposes but I think my favorite use is to put a couple of drops on each wrist at bedtime, I always seem to sleep better.
Another favorite is to add to the bath just before bedtime, inhale the Lavender aroma and let it work its magic on your skin.

Introducing…

Introducing Valor II and Peace & Calming II

We are excited to introduce Valor II and Peace & Calming II, two alternate formulations of Young Living favorites. While they were not designed to replace the ever popular Valor and Peace & Calming essential oil blends, these new formulations will have increased availability. The new formulations were hand picked to stay true to the original constituent formula of their predecessors, so they will offer the same great experience.

NingXia Red

For the past several months I have been drinking NingXia Red. I fondly refer to it as my “wolf juice,” and usually drink 2oz’s per day, in the morning.

I have tried the bottles and the small 2oz packets, and to be honest, I prefer the 2oz packets. For me, they are more convenient, I can take them with me when I’m away from home, I don’t need to measure into a glass, I just rip open the top and drink from the packet.

If you haven’t tried NingXia Red yet, I encourage you to do so. It’s refreshing, and always puts some pep in my step.

Itchy Scalp

Someone asked a couple of days ago about a shampoo that might assist with easing an itchy scalp. Here is our suggestion. Use an organic shampoo of your choice, adding 10 drops of Lavender and 10 drops of Peppermint. Shake well before each use and leave shampoo in hair for the duration of your shower, rinse well.

Location, Location, Location!

Oftentimes, when purchasing essential oils, a person can never be 100% certain where the actual plant used to produce the oil originated. With Young Living Essential Oils, we have the assurance that we always know, without exception, where the plant originated. Young Living owns several farms around the world, and works in partnership with other farms that meet Young Living’s high standards. Do you know where your essential oil came from?

‘Tis The Season

As we move into the cooler, and then colder months, it appears that a lot of advertising and media coverage focuses on the common cold and flu.

With that in mind, we are focused on regular hand washing, fist bumps instead of handshakes, and the regular use of our Young Living Thieves products. We use the Thieves essential oil in our diffuser, Thieves foaming hand soap, Thieves hand cleanser in our car, and overall, feel a lot better for doing so.

So, take a look at the Young Living Thieves range of products, and use them, and common sense, as we move through this part of the year. Any questions? Please feel free to contact us.

Sunday Diffuser

This morning we are using Young Living’s “Joy” in our diffuser. It contains a blend of different oils (see picture for further details,) and literally infuses our home with an aroma that is hard to ignore. Our plants love it, and we love it. Contact us to find out how to order some Joy at wholesale prices.
